2007 "Best Practices in Mobile & Wireless" Awards
Mobile & Wireless World's annual awards program
identifies and acknowledges excellence among users of mobile and wireless
technology.
The Honorees in each category were announced during a
Gala Evening celebration on May 23 during Computerworld’s Mobile & Wireless
World Conference, which took place May 21-23 at the Ritz-Carlton Grande Lakes in
Orlando, Florida.
Gaz Métro Plus was
named finalist for the "2007 Business Evolution through Mobilizing Field
Workers" award.
Business Evolution through Mobilizing Field Workers
award recognizes the adoption of mobile and wireless strategies and devices in
the nontraditional mobile workforce. Evaluates the field worker's ability to
connect with corporate applications, cellular and private networks, and data to
get business done in a remote business environment. Considers increases in
efficiency, service enhancement, productivity, and bottom line return.
